We have been, and will continue to be, working diligently to provide engaging, interactive, robust programming for all ages and in a variety of contexts. You can view all upcoming events, both in-person and online, HERE.
Because we do not have a permanent building of our own, Machar is able to lower its overhead costs by using rented space. We have our Jewish Cultural School, Adult Education program, and Community Sunday activities at our new location in the Kensington area of Montgomery Country. Our High Holiday services are in the Bethesda area. When health and safety practices allow, many community groups meet in the homes of members, who also host Shabbat and Havdalah gatherings.
